The sink is hand-glazed and fired at 2300°F for 20 hours. This intense temperature fuses the glaze and clay, making it incredibly strong. Fireclay is incomparably smooth, nonporous and the most damage- and heat-resistant sink material available. These sinks are also finished with an easy-to-clean coat, which makes them sink simple to maintain and keeps their natural beauty shining for years to come
